If the tool plays the master
The master plays the fool
If a door's found standing open
Why must fools rush in
Standing too close to the flame
Only tempts the fire
And it will take much more than you've got
Or could ever hope to gain
We're warning you
We're telling you
Trust that we're holding
Secrets you should hear
You think we're scolding
But you really need to fear
Danger, danger Adventurer!
We have done the asking
But dare not share the ways
Of a sun that's ever basking in it's own bright rays
We're warning you
We're telling you
It consumes itself in it's flame
The flame of false messiah
And it will take much more than you've got
Or ever hope to gain
We're warning you
We're telling you
Yes I hear and believe what you say
But how can we triumph if we turn away
With this thing we might climb past the heavens
With this thing we might charge through the stars
With a will we must take what is given
The promise that lives in this child of mankind is ours to take beyond
To take beyond our ken
To rise with and to become
The beginning and the end of mankind

If you like music that’s even remotely heavy, this EP is for you. It’s hard rock, heavy metal, doom metal, stoner rock, and so much more. My only question is this: WHEN WILL SONIC MEDUSA RECORD AGAIN? Kirk Gauthier
Recorded in a shipping container, the Australian artist's quirky second album is a love letter to 70’s classic rock, folk, and psychedelia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2023

I can’t believe I’m just now finding this band. I lucked into finding them by reading an old interview with The Skull members Eric Wagner, Ron Holzner, and Jeff Olson (All three formerly of Trouble, too). They’ve been broken up for almost a decade now. Such a shame; they should have and still should be HUGE! The vocalist has some amazing pipes! If you listen to the first song and don’t buy it, it’s quite possible you have zero taste when it comes to heavy music. Jason Gilbert
