Eyes closed
They lay there row on row
Silvered ghosts 'neath the cowls of their machines
No one knows what they'll know
That's what they know
In the Halls of the Dead there is no doubt
And no sunshine
There where only shadow fills the mind
See them here
See them there
See them everywhere
In the darkness
By the glow of the light they haunt their machines
So carefully tended
So faithfully mended
It's such a treat to serve in the halls of their Specter King
Where no sun shines
There where only shadow fills their minds
No end of saga
No new beginning
Merely a verse in the eternal masquerade
Life ever changing
Just rearranging
Or so they sing in the Halls of the Dead
Eyes closed
They lay there row on row
Silvered ghosts in the bowels of their machines
Only they'll know what they'll know
And so it goes
In the Halls of the Dead there can be no doubt
And no sunshine
There where the shadow lights the mind

If you like music that’s even remotely heavy, this EP is for you. It’s hard rock, heavy metal, doom metal, stoner rock, and so much more. My only question is this: WHEN WILL SONIC MEDUSA RECORD AGAIN? Kirk Gauthier
Recorded in a shipping container, the Australian artist's quirky second album is a love letter to 70’s classic rock, folk, and psychedelia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2023

I can’t believe I’m just now finding this band. I lucked into finding them by reading an old interview with The Skull members Eric Wagner, Ron Holzner, and Jeff Olson (All three formerly of Trouble, too). They’ve been broken up for almost a decade now. Such a shame; they should have and still should be HUGE! The vocalist has some amazing pipes! If you listen to the first song and don’t buy it, it’s quite possible you have zero taste when it comes to heavy music. Jason Gilbert
