Here I stand
The last of man
No tears of sorrow wet my cheek
For souls that burned
When the worm did turn
Whose foolish daydreams
Turned to sleep
Yes this I've won
And though someday
I will be undone
The eye behind this mask
Will never fade
I am the endgame
The final chapter of man
As I go gently into that night
Oh, oh, oh....
Here I stand
The least of man
Humbly meek and mild I must confess
No great doer of deeds
No great will to succeed
But ever as you find me
So I am
The one and only me
Onto myself a singularity
I need no other to make me who I am
Here I stand
The last of man
A relic of the past
A lump of clay
And stand I must
Although some day this flesh will turn to dust
The eye beyond this mask
Will never die
If you like music that’s even remotely heavy, this EP is for you. It’s hard rock, heavy metal, doom metal, stoner rock, and so much more. My only question is this: WHEN WILL SONIC MEDUSA RECORD AGAIN? Kirk Gauthier
Recorded in a shipping container, the Australian artist's quirky second album is a love letter to 70’s classic rock, folk, and psychedelia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2023
I can’t believe I’m just now finding this band. I lucked into finding them by reading an old interview with The Skull members Eric Wagner, Ron Holzner, and Jeff Olson (All three formerly of Trouble, too). They’ve been broken up for almost a decade now. Such a shame; they should have and still should be HUGE! The vocalist has some amazing pipes! If you listen to the first song and don’t buy it, it’s quite possible you have zero taste when it comes to heavy music. Jason Gilbert
